WORLD BOOK DAY (year 5)

 WORLD BOOK DAY, also called International Day of the Book. It is an annual event organized by UNESCO to promote reading, publishing and copyright. The first World Book Day was celebrated on 23 April in 1995. It´s celebrated on 23 April as this date is the anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare (in 1616) and also Garcilaso de la Vega!

In Catalonia, this date coincides with The Diada de Saint Jordi, the patron saint of Catalonia.The Diada involves the exchange of gifts: a book and a rose, between loved ones.

There is also an UNESCO World Book Capital,this year 2022, Guadalajara (Mexico).

EASTER TIME (year 3)

 Easter is the holiest day of the year for Christians. It celebrates their belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.Eggs represent life and rebirth, associated with Jesus´crucifixion and resurrection.

A FACT SHEET (5 year).
